"Suffer Well"
It took me a minute to realize that I in fact hear God speak to me, but it took fire and being in the wilderness to draw me closer to God so that I was sure.
Being in the fire will always prove your true nature. Will you fold, or excel? Will the pressure take you out? Or will you use the pressure to catapult you further into God.
"Make It Count" that's my life motto and that's what I often tell people when witnessing/ministering.
This simply means:
1. If you're going to cry about a situation, make sure it's in prayer or make sure you're talking to God.
2. If you feel like venting about a situation, make sure it's to God.
3. If you need to hear from God, open your Bible.
4. If you get upset, sit down and explain to God why you are upset. Talk it out even though He was right there when it happened.
Understand that God is with us. That's why we call Him Emmanuel. He is there! So in every trying situation, complication, or problem. Solve it WITH God; solve it the Godly way. Would He be happy with the way you dealt with it?
The wilderness/fire/pressure isn't a punishment, but it's a means to catapult you into purpose lead you to destiny.
If you're going to go through fire, make it count; suffer well.
Yours Truly,
The Privy Penman
